Overview

One of our unique combined eXperiences tailored for riders who would like to enjoy the comforts and of a stationery riding holiday and the adrenaline of a trail ride.

The best of both worlds!

You will start you eXperience with a warm-up at the farm with lessons in the outdoor arena and hacks around the farm. A perfect start to your adventure, enjoying the peace that flows in the air mixed with the flower perfumed breeze. In the last 3 days you will eXperience a trail ride, sleeping with Moroccan families in their houses, in hostels, or camping overnight.

In the first days at the farm you ride about four hours each day divided into two sessions, one in the morning where you can appreciate the magnifique landscapes in an small outdoor hack to prepare your trail ride or enjoy a lesson at the menage to improve your techniques and one in the afternoon where you go outdoor to appreciate the beautiful landscapes of the local beach and nearby mountain areas on a bigger hack. You will return to the farm to enjoy and relax with the farm's numerous activities and SPA treatments, where a tasty and colorful meal waits for you. During your 3 day trail ride you will get to eXperience the Moroccan rich culture and exotic heritage while riding through the beautiful mountains and sandy deserts, fertile plains and long white beaches. During your trail ride in the last days you will stay some nights in basic tents or Bivouacs, local guesthouses or accommodations.

The farm, situated between the mountains and the beach, is carefully decorated, with the typical and charming architecture of the region. Some rooms overlook the ocean, whilst others offer views of the horses or the beautiful flowered grounds that perfume the air. The guest house has communal areas, a very large dining room for group dinners, a tea room, reading or relaxing room, a garden and several outdoor terraces. A wooded garden (carob trees, hibiscus, olive trees, etc.) oriented full west allows to enjoy the sunsets on the sea and to relax in the calm, the shade or in the sun. The day you can enjoy a solarium on the terrace or the well-being and beauty area.

Food is traditional Moroccan style and the chef offers tajines, grilled meats, couscous and other local specialties, as well as various desserts accompanied by the traditional mint tea brewed by the chef himself. A small fishing port is situated 1km from the ranch and offers fresh fish of very good quality.

In the first days during your stay at the farm you can relax at the beautiful grounds or if you feel more energetic you can try the numerous activities available like surfing, paragliding, swimming, massages, bike rides and visits to local areas of interest. Your hosts will help you organize your activities.
Also available are evenings on the beach where you can enjoy the sunset and some Moroccan music, riding on the beach at moonlight, camel riding, visits to Tiznit and Mirleft, lunch under the palm trees, henna tattoos and Moroccan cooking lessons.

There is a swimming pool and two jacuzzis close to the farm, about a 15 minute walk away towards the beach. Perfect place to lie after a good ride, enjoying the fantastic views of the sea from the bar. There is also a beauty salon at the farm offering massages, beauty treatments and henna tattoos.

Itinerary

6 riding days with a combination of 3 days with rides out in the beach and the mountains and/or lessons in the farm followed by a 3 day trail ride with overnight staying in tents or guest houses. You ride about 4 to 5 hours a day. You will start your week with a classic horse training, lessons in the outdoor carrier and outings with the horses with overnight at the farm and for the last 3 riding days, you wil do a trail ride, sleeping with Moroccan families in their houses, in hostels, or camping overnight.

A complete eXperience where you can relax and improve your riding at the farm and then enjoy an exciting trail ride into the Moroccan countryside.

On arrival at the farm you will be introduced to the team and the farm and shown to your accommodation and, depending on the arrival time, you can have a first ride to familiarise yourself with the horses and a chance for your guide to assess your riding ability and discuss your programme with you. A welcoming dinner prepared by the farm's chef, full of Moroccan specialities, will be served to you, followed by the Moroccan traditional mint tea brewed by the chef.


Day 1
Arrival at Agadir Airport and transfer to the farm. You will get to know the farm and meet the horses and your guides. Depending on your arrival time it might be possible for a one hour class in the outdoor carrier or a hack around the farm where you make a visit to the guest house “nid d’aigle” with panoramic views of all the coast, passing through a Berber village and down to the beach through the dunes, a perfect first approach to the Berber region.

Day 2
After breakfast, preparation of the horses around 9am, and then either one hour lesson in the carrier followed by a one hour hack or a two hour long hack. Lunch at the farm. After a few hours of rest, a two hour long hack in the afternoon: passing through 2 villages, galloping on the beach or riding throw the dunes, depending on the level of the riders.

Day 3
After breakfast, preparation of the horses around 9am, and then either one hour lesson in the carrier followed by a one hour hack or a two hour long hack. Lunch at the farm. After a few hours of rest, a two hour long hack in the afternoon: you will visit Sidi Boufdail going along the cliffs, looking over the wild beaches.

Day 4
Departure at 9:30 am for a 3 days itinerant ride. After a visit to the beach, you go towards the red mountains, through valleys with cactus and argan! You will camp under the palm trees on the edge of a dry oued!

Day 5
You go down to the plain of Tiznit along the mountain to the picnic to Timzdawn, after crossing the palm of Aglou, it goes into a Anfoud douar where we stay in a Berber house, greeted by a nice family to share her traditions and culture.

Day 6
Last day of your trail ride. After breakfast you will ride through a desert of stones and sand. You continue towards the troglodyte caves of fishermen overlooking the ocean where you will have lunch if the tide is low enough to allow it. Back towards the farm by the beach with 15km of fine sand! If the tide is too highyou will return through the dunes overlooking the beach! Dinner and overnight at the farm.

Day 7
Today it's time to relax. You can choose to do some shopping at Mirleft, enjoy some SPA treatments or go for a ride. Lunch, dinner and last night at the farm.

Day 8
After breakfast you will be transfered to Agadir Airport to catch your flight back home

The farm welcomes guests of all levels, from beginners to experienced although if you are a complete beginner you might not be eligible for the 3 day trail ride.
