Overview
The farm is the home of over 30 horses, each with something special to offer their riders. Pony rides are available for the smallest of guests. Combine riding lessons with hacking out in the surrounding valleys, plateaus and forests. The mixture of horses offers a suitable horse for everybody, from calm horses for the lesser experienced to fast and fiery horses for the demanding rider.
Choose from the numerous activities offered and while the children are usually busy with petting animals, you have the chance of hiking, biking trying archery (bow and arrows are operational for adults and children) or just relaxing with a book in the nearby flower-meadows rich in all colours. The surrounding, natural landscape offers fantastic Nature Hiking for the whole family, during all seasons. The hills and meadows of the area offer both shorter and longer hikes and for those looking for a bigger challenge, the nearby Piatra Craiului or the Bucegi Mountains are ideal for an adventurous day hike. Specialized nature guides can be arranged.
Romania is home to one of the largest populations of European Brown Bears. View these wild, magnificent creatures in their natural habitat from a special hide in the forest. You have an excellent chance to see bears and possibly even wolves!

Enjoy the delicious flavours of local, organic foods and wines. eXperience Fine Dining specialties with an exquisite 8 courses paired with various Romanian organic drinks served with each course. The very pleasing cooks are specialized in this fine cuisine. The farm's garden delivers fresh vegetables and meats are from free-ranging animals.
Accommodation
The farm's guesthouse has 9 double rooms, each with a bathroom, suitable also for families with children. Two living rooms, one with an open fire-place and bar, are inviting for relaxing evenings. Downstairs, there is a nice dining room and there is a large veranda outside where you can sit in the summertime.
Meals
Homemade, locally produced, organic food. People in Sinca Noua generally do not use pesticides or artificial fertilizers, and the livestock is still kept the old way: outside on the pastures. The farm's garden delivers fresh onions, salad, zucchini, tomatoes, peppers, berries, peas, beans, and many more vegetables and fruits. Other food such as milk, eggs, honey, potatoes, lamb, and veal is bought from the farmers in the neighbourhood.
Programme Outline
Day 1
Arrival
You fly to Bucharest airport, where you will be picked up and transferred through the spectacular mountains to the guesthouse in Sinca Noua. You will receive a welcome drink, a local dinner and will spend the evening with the Team to prepare the week.
Day 2 and 3
Riding lessons
After breakfast you will be shown around the farm and get an introduction into horses. Throughout the next days, you will have the chance to learn all about equipment, horse care, saddling and whatever you want to know about horses. For the first 2 days, you will get 2 riding lessons each day to learn some basic skills of riding or improve your advanced skills. You will have plenty of time for walks through the nature around the farm or to hang out on the veranda and read a book.
On monday's evenings, you have the possibility to visit a hide in the forest not far from the farm, where the chance to see wild brown bears is very high.
Day 4 and 5
Riding lessons and half-day trips
On these 2 days you will continue to learn with each one riding lesson in the morning, after a lunch you will be taken to some of the interesting spots in the nearby. One day you go by minibus to the famous Dracula Castle and learn about the true history of the place. You continue to the farmer’s castle in Rasnov, which is less famous, but at least as interesting.
The other day you will go for a hike into the Zarnesti canyon in the nearby Piatra Craiului National Park. Stunning rock-walls are along this hike, which will take you for about two and a half hours through one of the most amazing geological highlights of the Carpathian Mountains.
Day 6 and 7
Riding lessons and first trips on horseback into the country side
Again, you will get a riding lesson each morning and in the afternoons you will first time eXperience a one and a half trip on horseback through the stunning nature around the farm.
On one of the days, you will be driven into nearby Strîmbisoara Valley and visit the virgin forests there. Here you find huge, hundreds of years old beech, fir, and spruce trees, fallen giants make way for the next generation. An impressing nature!
Day 8
Time to say good-bye
After breakfast you will be taken to Bucharest to return home.
Special Wildlife & Wilderness eXperience
Day 9 and 10
Add two nights in a Mountain Hide and eXperience the unique wilderness and wildlife of the mountains. This new hide holds 6 places, and is provided with full service (transport excluded) with gourmet dining (the revenues of the programme go fully to the conservation of wilderness and wildlife in the Carpathian Mountains).

Beverages are included in the price, drinks at the bar have to be paid separately
Under normal conditions, we can offer the trip to a hide in the forest, where there is a good chance to observe wild brown bears, foxes, or possibly even wolves from a hide. This is, however, a service from the Forest Administration and they charge €30 p.p.
