Overview

Horse riding in India is often considered a royal sport. After all, it was the pageantry of Kings of Rajasthan who first conceived this adventure sport. It is now practised in several places around the world but the eXperience of riding a horse especially in the rural and uneXplored destination of Rajasthan, is unique and unforgettable.

Horse riding in India allows the mind to go through a type of therapy called the nature’s therapy. Nothing can release your mental stress like nature in India does.

The best way to eXplore the many eye-catching countryside in this region is on horseback. While eXploring Rajasthan on horseback you get opportunity to enjoy the delightful views of the colorful and lively regions that cannot be seen elsewhere in the world.
You will ride the beautiful Royal Marwari horse, across its very homeland, along flat, sandy river beds, through towering sand dunes and past age-old granite mountains.
You will see many ancient temples, unspoilt rural villages and meet the local tribes-people, whose way of life goes back centuries and at the end of every day you will stay in historical castles for full regal eXperience.

This eXperience recreates the charm of horseback travel of old time. Let your senses sway to the romance of the regal era as you pass forts, palaces and historical landmarks.

The last four days of your adventure are dedicated to local tours and visits. In your last day you will visit the wonder of the world Taj Mahal because a trip to India is not complete if have you have not visited the historical monument Taj Mahal!
Enjoy a farewell dinner with typical Rajasthani dance and folk songs by local artist in bonfire.

Itinerary

Day 1
On arrival in Deli, you will be received by our representative with garland welcome and transferred to your hotel to relax. Overnight in hotel at Deli.

Day 2
After breakfast in hotel, you will be transferred to Deli Airport to board your flight* to Udaipur. On arrival at Udaipur Airport, you will be received by our representative who will drive you to Kumbhalgarh through the lush green Aravalli valleys of Mewar region. On arrival check into the hotel and relax. In the late afternoon enjoy a visit to Kumbhalgarh Fort. The walls of this fort are 36kms long and have been called the Great Wall of India which is the second biggest after the Great Wall of China. It has a prominent place in the history of Rajasthan as this fort was never conquered. Later in the afternoon you will meet your guide and the horses and you will go for a short trail in and around the fort. Overnight in hotel at Kumbhalgarh.

Day 3
Morning after breakfast, get back on your Marwari horse and start your trail towards Ghanerao, which will go through the wildlife sanctuary of the Kumbhalgarh where you see the many rare spices of fauna and flora of Rajasthan. On arrival at Ghanerao, check into the camp and relax. Overnight in camp at Ghanerao.

Day 4
Morning after breakfast, you will start your journey towards Jojawar. Today’s trail will go through the magnificent Aravali Mountain ranges, one of the oldest ranges in the world and colorful villages of Rajasthan. En route see the villagers, busy in their fields and in their rural life. In the evening, arrive at Jojawar ,a unique village full of colourful markets having numerous fabrics and pretty leather shoes embroidered. Overnight in camp at Jojawar.

Day 5
After breakfast, you will ride towards Dhamli. On the way you see the community of Rebari “Shepherds”. Here you see the beautifully dressed women of Rebari community working with the sheep’s and goats. You will also have the oportunity to admire the Rebari Community men colorful red turbans taking their camels to graze. Keep riding through areas where no vehicle can go, crossing water and wide fields. Arrive Dhamli village and check into the hotel. On arrival in Dhamli, you finish your marvelous horse riding adventure. Overnight in hotel at Dhamli to start your historical tour.

Day 6
Morning after breakfast, you will be driven to Jodhpur. Jodhpur is the second largest city in the Rajasthan. It is called the Gateway to Thar, as it is literally on the edge of the Thar Desert. It is also called the “Sun City” as the sun shines very bright. It is also referred to as the “Blue City” due to the blue-painted houses around the Fort. On arrival Jodhpur, check into the hotel and relax.
In the afternoon you will visit the Majestic Mehrangarh Fort. The fort is located in the heart of the old city located 125m high over a 5km wide hill. After that you will visit Jaswant Thada, also known as the Taj Mahal of Jodhpur, to later proceed for the colourful market of Jodhpur to see the tiny shops lined in both sides of the narrow lanes in these markets. You can find textiles, silver, handicrafts, aromatic spices, vegetables and indian sweets in these shops. Return to your hotel to relax. Overnight in hotel at Jodhpur.

Day 7
After breakfast drive to Jaipur. Jaipur is also Known as Pink City because many buildings are still washed in Pink, the traditional color of welcome. On arrival check into the hotel and relax. In the afternoon you will visit the Magnificent City Palace, the Royal Museum. The Palace complex holds an excellent museum, an armoury, sprawling gardens, buildings and several fine halls, Jantar Mantar, the Astronomical Observatory and Hawa Mahal, the Palace of Winds. Overnight in hotel at Jaipur.

Day 8
After breakfast enjoy the sightseeing of the 16th century’s Amber fort (UNESCO World Heritage Site) you can walk or go on elephant back up to the entrance of this romantic, traditional Rajasthani Fort, setting the mood for a visit to the dramatic, hill-top fortress. Later you will be driven to Agra. On arrival in Agra, check in hotel and relax.

Day 9
Early morning enjoy the visit of India’s most celebrated monument Taj Mahal, the white marble tomb built in 22 years (1631 to 1653) by the Emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved Queen Mumtaz. Over 20,000 craftsmen from Persia, Turkey, France and Italy laboured for 22 years to build this masterpiece which is also famous known as a symbol of eternal love. This beautiful monument in Agra is an absolute must for every visitor.
Later check-out from hotel and visit World’s Heritage Agra Fort built in Red Sandstone. After you will be driven to Deli. On arrival in Deli, you will be transfered to the International Airport for your return flight.
