Overview
At 1200 meters in altitude, in the foothills of the Anti-Atlas, Tafraout (the glacial valley), owes its name to the vertiginous panoramas open onto a valley shaped like a bowl. Overlooking the fertile gorges brimming with date tress, almonds trees and argan trees, Tafraout is surrounded by the pink granite of the mountain. At sunset, the incandescent peaks reflect these shades offering a stunning show.

Escape the big cities for the ancient oasis of Tafraout on horseback discovering the region while riding through the breathtaking scenario, where you'll find ancient traditions, genuinely friendly people and a superb visual eXperience.
Along the mountains, cliffs, waterfalls and rapids, you’ll discover beautiful wild gardens where fig trees, olive trees, date trees, and almond trees grow! In the spring, you will find the valleys covered by a sheet of flowers transforming the landscape into a flowery wonderland!

During your eXperience you will stay in local hotels or guesthouses around the region. The last two days you will stay in a beautiful farm, located between the Atlas Mountains and only 10 minutes from the sea to take advantage of a more fertile ground for a faster pace, the fabulous scenery from the top of the cliffs and the beach!
All accommodations have been selected for their charm, comfort and conviviality to make sure you always feel the real Moroccan life. While in the city you can take a break and visit the traditional little shops and stalls here you can find all kinds of handcrafts and typical products from lumps of rock crystal, and sulphur, dried chameleons, cactus roots and myrrh, used in ancient rituals to a selection of antique angular iron keys, once used in the region's famous wooden locks and woodwork, leather, silver bracelets, earrings, and other interesting items on sale all for a much cheaper price than in the souks of Agadir, Marrakesh or Fez.

Itinerary
Day 1
Welcome at the airport and transfer to Tafraout. first night and dinner at the hotel in Tafraout.
Day 2
Departure to the village of Ahshyen and its painted rocks, riding towards Aoumerkout.
Through an ancient path, you will ride through large rocks painted by the artist Belgian Jean Vérame, heading towards the village of Tazeka to admire the invaluable testimonies bequeathed by the elders through their carvings.
Dinner and overnight at hotel in the city of Tafraout.
Day 3
Today you will ride in the heart of the anti Atlas mountains in the magnificent Valley Amlen through the old trail Tazermlalet, while discovering groves, oasis and Berber villages in Pisa. Picnic lunch in the Valley.
You then continue to ride in this magical natural scenario, with colours ranging from pink to purple, where you can admire one of the most ancient rock carvings.
Dinner under the moonlight and night at local guesthouse, a typical comfortable moroccan house.
Day 4
In your last day riding around Trafaout you will have the chance to observe gorgeous views and have a picnic lunch at 2000m above sea level before descending to Souk Ntasrirt where you stop for the night (if the local guesthouse is available) or you will ride back to Tafraout.
Day 5
From Timguicht, you will be driven back to the palmeraie of Massa and spend the night at the auberge de Massa.
Day 6
After your day off from riding, you will follow the ocean and it's beautiful cliffs, where you can see the caves of fishermen and beautiful sand tracks. Will you have your picnic lunch at the edge of the ocean to then ride to your next destination. A beautiful cottage in a rustic, typical environment received by a very nice Berber family.
Day 7
Your last day of riding. After breakfast you will discovery a desert of stones and sand. You continue riding in the direction of the fishermen troglodytes caves that overlook the ocean. You will make your way to the farm by the beach with its 15km of fine sand! If the tide is too high you make your way by the dunes overlooking the beach!
Evening meal and overnight stay at the farm.
Day 8
Transfer to Agadir Airport to catch your flight back home, with your head full of wonderful memories.

This eXperience is intended for experienced riders in the three paces (sitting and standing) in different types of ground. It is advisable to have a good physical condition as you ride 6 hours in average per day
