Meet your professional local guide at your hotel in San Ignacio town and join him/her for a short drive to the stables where you prepare for your ride to Xunantunich Maya site.

Ride the quiet riverside trail into the village of San Jose Succotz where you will cross the river by ferry together with your horse. Just a little further on is the well known Mayan city complex of Xunantunich.

After an hour exploring this site you will be happy for your steady steed to get you off your feet for your ride home.

Pickups & drop offs for any hotel/resort outside of San Ignacio town will incur an additional fee payable cash on day of tour. Additional fee will vary depending on location of hotel/resort outside of San Ignacio town.

This eXperience is suitable for intermediate to advanced riders. Riders must be able competently sit trot, post in trot, and canter. Experienced children only over 12 years old.

Practical clothing advisable. Non Riders will have to wait at the riding centre.
